After being hurt by all the rain last year, could Pennsylvania farmers be in for another tough year because of the weather?
With this spring’s rains, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau spokesman Joel Rotz says many state farmers are finding it a challenge to get their crops in the ground. Corn and soybeans are among the crops Rotz says farmers are trying to plant now.
While farmers are used to dealing with the weather, if the rains continue, Rotz says they will probably have to make some changes in the planting decisions.
