A man in Sligo says his girlfriend became violent when he would not give her prescribed opioids.
The State Police in Clarion responded to the scene of a domestic dispute just before 7 pm on May 10 along Colerain Street in Sligo Borough and found 56 year old Anthony Hornung, who related his girlfriend, 42 year old Andrea Semanco, allegedly threw objects at him because he would not give her the oxycodine.
Semanco was arrested for harassment and charges were filed at the district court.
