State Police in Indiana announced that they were serving 14 warrants connected to methamphetamine production in Indiana County and the surrounding areas as part of “Operation One-Pot.”
Out of the 14 warrants that have been served, nine people have been arrested, including 30-year-old Derek Edward Colberg of Marion Center. Five people remain at large at this time.
Trooper Cliff Greenfield, public information officer with the State Police, said that many of the ingredients to create meth in the “one-pot” method are readily available in stores. So far this year, 11 “one-pot” meth labs have been found in Indiana County, which has already surpassed last year’s total.
