PennDOT says State Route (SR) 4001 (Five Points Road) will be closed on May 28, from the intersection of US Route 422 to the intersection of Creek Road in Armstrong Township.
The detour for motorists is as follows: Creekside Road to SR 954 to Philadelphia Street to US Route 422.
The temporary closing is to replace the existing structure that carries SR 4001 over Crooked Creek. More info is available at www.511PA.com.
Also, PennDOT announced a change to the start date of construction work on Beaver Drive in DuBois.
According to PennDOT, the enhancement project will now begin on June 3. The work zone will stretch from East Division Street to near Shaffer Road. On June third crews will be working to install a sidewalk, ADA compliant ramps and bus pull off areas.
No word was given for the change of date.
