A man from Mayport lost his life in an auto crash that happened Saturday Night.
According to authorities, 41 year old David Anthony was driving his SUV south in the north-bound lane of State Route 28 near Dewy road in Red Bank Township, when he hit a car driven by 46 year old John Himes of Brockport, causing them to smash into an embankment.
Anthony was pronounced dead at the scene, while Himes and one of his passengers, 47 year old Rachelle Himes, were transported to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The other passenger, a 10 year old boy, was taken to Penn Highlands of Brookville for treatment of a minor injury.
