The White Township Supervisors last night approved bids for paving and seal coating.
The supervisors tabled accepting grants for two projects, as the grants are not as much as they hoped it would be and costs were higher than anticipated. The two projects were Green-Light-Go project for a new traffic signal and the DEP Fuels incentive grant that would help pay for the conversion of new trucks to a different form of gasoline.
Township Manager Milt Lady said if the costs are not reduced, they could be forced to return the grants.
The grants will be brought up again at their next meeting May 22 Wednesday.
