The school board in Punxsutawney held its voting session last night and favored a 2019 2020 general funds budget.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, the proposed general funds budget without a tax increase passed with a 6-3 vote and will be available for the public to see, as well as the one with a tax increase that didn’t pass.
According to the published report, the passage will not be official until the June 11 voting meeting, with the possibility of the a tax increase budget still passing.
