The State Police in Marienville released their statistics for last month.
According to the report, during the month of April, State Police in Marienville had a total of 328 incidents, of them 36 were criminal offenses that were founded and 21 arrests were made.
There were 15 crashes with no fatalities, three hit and runs, and of the four DUIs, one of which was related to an accident.
Of the 229 traffic citations written, there were 192 warnings.

A man from Homer City was injured when he reportedly crashed into a parking lot.
State Police in Indiana say the accident happened yesterday around 5:30 pm, when 70 year old James Henry was traveling west on Route 422 and left the roadway into a grocery store parking lot in Strongstown, Pine Township. The car hit a pillar and chairs in the front of the building.
Henry was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

A Shelocta woman was injured on Monday in an accident on Route 210 in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County.
State Police say 34-year-old Amanda Gearhart tried to make a left turn across 210 onto Racetrack Road, but turned in front of a vehicle operated by a 17-year-old male from Avonmore, whose name was not released. The front of the teen’s vehicle hit the back end of Gearhart’s car, causing it to spin out.
Citizens Ambulance personnel treated Gearhart for a small cut on her forehead. Neither the teen driver, nor a 14-year-old girl traveling with him, were injured.

Inmates at SCI Pine Grove, the state prison in White Township, have donated $500 to the Alice Paul House, the domestic violence shelter in Indiana.
The Beyond the Fence inmate organization at the prison held a fundraiser in March, selling Little Debbie products to the inmate population. Two hundred and twenty inmates participated and raised more than $1,200. They decided on the Alice Paul House as one of their beneficiaries in honor of National Crime Victims Rights Week in April.
The Alice Paul House focuses on domestic violence and sexual assault and operates a shelter for victims. The organization last week held a groundbreaking for a new facility along Saltsburg Avenue in White Township.
In November, Beyond the Fence donated $600 to Indiana County Children and Youth Services.

Starting today the State Police in Indiana will be conducting DUI checkpoints over the weekend.
According to the State Police in Indiana, the sobriety checkpoints are an effort to combat and deter impaired drivers on the roadways of the Commonwealth. Officials have plans to have other enforcement details throughout the month as well. Motorists are reminded to drive sober, safely and responsibly.

Indiana Borough Police are looking for information about a hit and run that happened on Tuesday.
The Indiana Gazette reports the incident happened along 6th Street after 3 pm, when a truck was traveling south and hit and damaged the driver side mirror of an SUV that was legally parked. The driver of the truck continued on without providing any personal information.
The truck is described as a burgundy Dodge Ram Truck with a Pennsylvania license plate. Anyone with information that can help call the Borough Police at 717 349 2121.
