Brookville Borough Police filed charges of retail theft against a woman.
Authorities say they investigated an incident that was reported on April 6, when a 36 year old woman was suspected of placing items in her purse at a business on Main Street in Brookville.
After further investigation, the charges were filed at Magistrate Bazylak’s Office.

A single-vehicle accident seriously injured a man from Penfield.
The accident occurred on Friday afternoon at 2:30, along Mountain Run Road, south of Diamond Street in Huston Township, when 54-year old Robert Thompkins was going around a right hand curve, traveled off the road and hit a tree.
According to the State Police in DuBois, he was not wearing his seat belt and was transported to Penn Highlands for treatment of suspected serious injuries. His passenger, 43-year old Eric Gerg, also of Penfield, was not taken to the hospital, but the driver was given a traffic citation.

Charges will be filled soon for an incident that happened last month.
Authorities say on March 29 around 2 in the afternoon, a 55 year old man of Clarion was pulled over on I80 east at exit 64, and after further investigation, he was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Charges will be filed through the Clarion County Magisterial District Court. His name and other information was not released.
