State Police in Marienville arrested a 42 year old man from Brookville following a domestic situation.
According to authorities, the incident happened between the evening of April 25 and the early morning hours of April 26 when they were called to the scene of a domestic violence altercation. When they arrived at the home of a 29 year old Brookville woman along Route 36 in Eldred Township, the suspect had fled the scene in an unknown direction, but later turned himself in without incident.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
