The woman from New Bethlehem who has been charged with making false claims to Children and Youth Services will have her hearing continued.
ExploreClarion.com reports, 52-year-old Laurie Russo’s hearing will resume on Wednesday, May 15 in Venango County Central Court. According to the published report, Russo allegedly called Childline with seven separate child abuse reports between September 13, 2018 and February 9 this year regarding a residence on Acorn Drive in Cranberry Township.
After further investigation by CYS and the Pennsylvania State Police, all claims were unfounded and the charges of false alarm and false reports were filled.
