According to Penn DOT, a construction project that will give motorists a smoother ride on almost three miles of River Road in Barnett Township, Forest County is scheduled to start soon.
The project will be along the Clarion River from the intersection with Route 36 to near the intersections with Black River Junction and John Long Way. Work will involve base repairs and resurfacing, as well as updated guide rail and pavement markings.
Construction is expected to begin on April 25, 2019, weather permitting, and is scheduled for completion by May 23, 2019.
