A man from Brookville reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.
Authorities say 51 year old Richard Geer was driving south on Route 899 in Barnett township, Forest County around 11:30 last night and passed out while going around a curve. He traveled off the road, hit a guide rail and then continued on until he crashed into a tree.
Geer refused medical treatment and he was given a traffic citation.

On April 4 around 11 am, police say 30 year old Lee Snavely of Clymer was driving too close to a vehicle driven by 49 year old Jesse James of Leeper on Paint Boulevard. When James suddenly slowed down, Snavely rear-ended him.
No one was hurt but Snavely was cited and James had his vehicle towed.

There was a single car accident that happened last Tuesday.
The State Police in Clarion say the crash occurred on Route 68 in Piney Township around 10 pm when 22 year old Devin Aughton of Rimersburg was traveling west and swerved to miss a deer, but went across the roadway and hit the eastbound embankment. The car continued into a grassy area and swerved back onto the roadway before coming to a final stop in the eastbound lane facing north.
Aughton was treated by ambulance for a minor injury and cited for not driving at a safe speed.

Authorities say the accident happened back on January 14 around 6 pm on Route 68 near Kane Drive in Monroe Township when the vehicles crashed and that lead to the arrest of a 59 year old man from Sligo for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

A Clymer man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the State Police in Indiana, the arrest occurred on Saturday around 1 in the morning on State Route 403 Dixon Road in Cherry Hill Township when a 54 year old man was charged with DUI after a a traffic stop. His name and other information was not released.

There’s limited information about two individuals charged with assault.
Police say the incident happened on March 30 around 10:30 pm when 40 year old Sherry Ganci and 48 year old Richard Ganci, both from Shippenville, were being investigated by the PSP in Clarion for a domestic complaint on Dolby Street in Monroe Township.
After further investigation both were charged and and police filed them through the district court.
