An arrest warrant has been issued for a 26-year-old Cherry Tree man who’s accused of stabbing another man multiple times Monday night at a home in Burnside Township, Clearfield County.
State Police say Lonnie Ranger Schmoke II stabbed the 63-year-old victim “numerous times” and fled the home along Patchin Highway before troopers arrived. Charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, and terroristic threats were filed yesterday. The victim has not been publicly identified.
In addition to the stab wounds, he also suffered two broken ribs. Anyone with information on Schmoke’s whereabouts or on the incident itself is asked to call State Police in Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
