There was a fatal car crash that happened on Wednesday night.
According to WTAJ News, the accident occurred on State Route 879 of the Old Erie Pike in Clearfield County around 11:30 when the car lost control and went over an embankment and rested on the passenger side.
The published reports says 41 one year old Christina Metzker died at the scene and an unidentified man in the car allegedly attempted to run, but he was apprehended, found to be under the influence of alcohol and was flown to UPMC Altoona Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The investigation of the crash continues.
