PennDOT has issued a travel advisory for Armstrong County, Plumcreek Township on State Route 422.
Road work is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019 on State Route (SR) 422. The scope of work consists of resurfacing, including milling.
Motorists can expect daily lane restrictions and delays from April 8, 2019 through the end of September 2019, Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
In addition, work on previously announced landslide repair has been rescheduled to start on April 8, 2019 to repair a landslide that is approximately 1.5 miles west of Elderton Borough on State Route 422. Temporary single-lane restrictions start on April 15, with flagging used during off-peak hours.
Motorists should slow down and use caution in work zones, and obey flaggers and other traffic control devices. Expect congestion and delays in the project area. Fines are doubled for violations in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the workers.
