A Brookville School District bus driver has been charged with rape, incest and other related offenses.
According to the borough police department, the incident occurred between October of last year and this month. Investigators say they interviewed the juvenile victim, who disclosed being raped by an immediate family member for several months. Through a search warrant, police recovered evidence of the alleged crimes.
The suspect, as reported by ExploreJeffersonPA.com, 44-year-old Keith E. Reynolds was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak yesterday morning on nearly 200 counts related to the assault and rape of a mentally disabled juvenile.
Reynolds is in the Jefferson County jail after not being able to post the $70,000 monetary bail. A preliminary hearing is set for April 11.
The published report adds that once the district learned of the allegation, the bus company was contacted and Reynolds was suspended on Wednesday evening. No other information was released.
