A woman from Dayton was walking along a highway and was hit by a car.
According to the PSP in Indiana, this incident happened yesterday afternoon around 4:30 when 21 year old Michelle Franco was on foot along the Old William Penn highway near Pender Ave, when she stepped into the travel lane and was hit by a car driven by 67 year old Margret Patz of Blairsville, who attempted to miss her.
Franco’s head hit the windshield, causing the windshield to crack, and she suffered serious injuries and was transported by EMS to a hospital. Patz and he passenger were not injured.
