An unruly prisoner attempted to bite a probation officer in the hospital.
According to the Brookville Borough Police Department, the incident happened on Friday around 5 pm at the Brookville Hospital when authorities were called to assist probation with a prisoner who was cleared to go to jail. While handcuffing the person, she attempted to bite the PO’s hand, but was stopped before she could.
Charges have been filed at the District Judge Bazylak’s office for aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct. The prisoner’s name was not released.
