
PSP in Punxsutawney responded to a report of someone violating the terms of a protection from abuse order.
Authorities say the incident happened between Monday and Thursday last week around 2 in the afternoon, when 20 year old Cody Sanner of Punxsutawney allegedly sent text messages to 19 year old Anna Strawcutter of Mayport. Cody was taken into custody and placed in the Jefferson County Jail for violating the PFA.

State Police in Indiana say a witness told them several attic vents that were found yesterday afternoon in the area of Parkwood Road and Craig Road fell of a trailer. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 357-1960.

A 13-year-old boy will be charged with theft for stealing a Chromebook computer from a classroom at Penns Manor High School on March 21st. Police say the boy put the computer in his book bag. It was recovered. The boy will be charged before Indiana County Juvenile Probation.

A Marion Center woman attempted to buy a dog over the internet, but police say it was a scam. The victim sent $600 via a CVS MoneyGram on Friday to buy a “Tea Cup Chihuahua” from what appeared to be a legitimate website.

State police report two driving under the influence case. A 19-year-old Commodore man was pulled over on March 20th on Route 422 at the South Sixth Street exit in White Township. He is suspected of driving under the influence of marijuana and charges are pending the results of his blood test. The other DUI case is from the next day on Wayne Avenue at Maple Street in Indiana Borough. A 26-year-old Graceton man is suspected of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Again, charges are pending the results of a blood test.
