The 27 year old man who was charged in connection with a police standoff on March 8 waived his right to a preliminary hearing this week.
According to the Courier Express, Kevin Alexander Kear of DuBois was charged by the Sandy Township Police with misdemeanor counts of making false statement, assault, defiant trespass, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
Unable to post $25,000 bail, Kear is in the Clearfield County Jail. His formal arraignment is set for April 17 in the Clearfield County Courthouse Annex.
