No injuries were reported in a collision on Route 28. According to the State Police in Punxsutawney, the crash occurred this past Saturday afternoon just after 4 on Route 28 east of Seneca Trail in Rose Township, when two vehicles were heading south and 27 year old Dakota Roller of Corsica attempted to pass a car driven by 61 year old Valerie Butler of Sykesville. Police say Butler failed to notice Roller while going into his lane and sideswiped the vehicle.
Everyone was wearing seat belts. Both vehicles had to be towed, and Butler was given a traffic citation.
