
The state Liquor Control Board yesterday announced the return of $2.1 million in licensing fees to 1,103 municipalities across the commonwealth.
The PLCB is required to return the funds twice each year to the municipalities in which liquor license fees are paid. Liquor license fees range from $125 to $700, depending on the type of license and the population of the municipality in which the license is located.
In Jefferson County: Punxsutawney, Brookville and Brockway each are getting $200, In Clearfield County: DuBois will see almost $4,000 coming back and Clearfield will get $2,400. Fourteen-hundred dollars of the funds will be going to Indiana County.
