The Punxsutawney Area School District is now using the Raptor Visitor Registration System.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, the system has been in use since last week, and should add extra security. The published reports says when visitors swipe their drivers license, it will check the data base for registered sex offenders. If there is a match, officials will be discreetly alerted so proper measures can be taken.
