
A man from Punxsutawney who is accused of making terroristic threats against a couple waived his preliminary hearing yesterday.
According to court documents, charges of terroristic threats, harassment, communicate lewd, threatening language and disorderly conduct filed against against 48-year-old George Rutledge Jr. from Punxsutawney were waived in court yesterday. Rutledge also waived a preliminary hearing on two second-degree felony charges for possession of firearm prohibited.
The charges have been transferred to the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas. Rutledge is in the Jefferson County Jail after failing to post $50,000.00 cash bail.
