The Punxsutawney Borough Council held their January meeting last evening at the borough building.
After recalling the many successes of last year, including not raising taxes, the council went to work on the current agenda. The council agreed to continue projects for the betterment of Punxsutawney, including working with the Army Core of Engineers for the flood levee, Downtown Revitalization, PRIDE and three new projects for the east end playground.
Punxsutawney Mayor Rich Alexander noted the importance of cross ways at the intersections.
